5 Stars Great overall workout!
I am delighted with this Cardio/Ball DVD featuring Tanja. She is great. The long session is almost one hour long. Every part of the body is exercised and there is a lot of cardio. I used my handweights with some of it for an added boost. Great AB work and use of the ball. Some Pilates, as well.

The second part is Express. It features most of the first without the stretching in between. It’s an incredible 30 minute session. Powerful.

If you only have one balance ball DVD, this is great. Any of Gaiam/Tanja DVDs are worth the price.

5 Stars LOVE IT !!!!
I love this DVD. The box is recyclable and biodegradable but of really good quality. The cueing is good. The video is filmed in Snow Canyon Utah and the background is beautiful it kind of takes your mind out of the state that you are only working out. It works out lower and upper body. I have a small apartment to excersice and I did not have a problem with space.

5 Stars Best Challenging Balance Ball Workout I’ve Found!
I’ve tried lots of different balance ball workouts and this one is the first one I found challenging enough for me to work up a decent sweat in 10 minutes. Love the fact that you can workout for 10, 30, or 45 minutes depending in your time and energy levels. I just found it awkward that the 10-minutue workout was hidden in the Bonus Features section.

5 Stars Awesome Workout!
I did this for the first time (just the express workout) and LOVED IT! I love the new moves, while incorporating the ball. This one will be a staple in my DVD rotation! Great instructor, setting and moves!

5 Stars Part of my weekly routine
I’ve recently gotten obsessed with toning up. I’m 5’5 and 110lbs, not overweight, but I really want to firm up. I’ve been trying out different fitness videos and this one is the one I always return to. I have a rotation of videos I’m trying out, but I like to do this one at least twice a week. Tanja is very encouraging, not overly peppy, and the pacing in the video feels just right.

It has a nice balance of cardio and toning. The combo of squats and lunges are great for the legs and I can actually feel the definition in muscles in my thighs after three weeks… My butt is looking much shapelier too :) I don’t think the exercises for the arms and abs push me to my limit, but I’m tired and out of breath after the FIRST set of squats and lunges and sweat drips from my forehead by the time I’m done. This is one of my favorites and I am definitely going to check out more of Tanja Djelevic’s DVDs.

Fanny and the Assets 3 Balance Ball Exercises and Lying on Back and Lying on Side Exercises

Fanny and the Assets 3 Balance Ball Exercises and Lying on Back and Lying on Side Exercises

Balance Ball Exercises and Lying on Back and Lying on Side Exercises: “Bootyful AND Beautiful!”
These are the words that come to mind as you view these pretty ladies doing exercises. These exercises feature NO nagging during exercise, NO telling you to diet or change or get rid of fat. These DVDs see you as perfect just as you are, and there’s even a separate motivational section where you can learn various self-esteem boosters in case all those oppressive dieting ads on TV have managed to convince you you’re somehow unacceptable! Finally, if you’re like us and you think bootyful ladies are especially beautiful and the scrawny scarecrows Hollywood throws at us are depressing to watch, then this is the exercise DVD for you!

On the Ball Pilates Workout for Beginners

On the Ball Pilates Workout for Beginners

Studio: Cerebellum Corporation Release Date: 11/20/2007

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star I do not reccomend this if you are a beginner!
This is not a good beginners workout and it is boring. There are no options given if you are not strong enough to do the moves. Since this is a ‘beginners’ work out- well it would be helpful. Also there is not an overview to the the basic moves, tips or even proper use of the ball, etc. I am truly a beginner- but even if I were experienced- it’s dull.

I bought this because of the reviews- Does Amazon allow anyone to review- or only people who have bought the product!?!?!?!?!?

1 Star A flawed video for sure.
I used to do windsor pilates, I think my video was with Daisy Fuentes. I thought it would be fun to do a workout on my stability ball but I was totally wrong! There is no lower-impact option… which is especially nice when you’re just starting out. She also sometimes says the wrong word and doesn’t correct herself, so it’s hard to understand what you’re supposed to be doing.

Biggest problem: If you’re above 5’6″ (I’m 5’8″) you get a slightly bigger stability ball. This workout doesn’t have that larger stability ball in mind. Some of the moves are impossible because of the size of the larger ball. This is a problem for me and I wish I would have just bought a dvd copy of windsor pilates to replace my old vhs. What a waste of ten dollars!

4 Stars stability ball workout
This dvd really surprised me! I am not used to the balance ball workouts, thinking they would not be that effective. Silly me! This is a great workout, challenging for me as a beginner. Easy to follow and it flowed smoothly. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I did have an achy back after, but I have 2 herniated disks, and just need to keep doing it to build up my core (hence the reason for this particular workout!)I would recommend it to anyone though.

5 Stars Woohoo!
OK, I’ve tried everything and this is a great dvd. I am still a little bit wobbly on the ball, but I’m learning. And Lizbeth is a good teacher. I’ve only been doing this for 2 weeks so far, and I’m certainly feelin’ it after each workout. I haven’t lost weight yet (I think I need to add some cardio in there, but I feel taller and I SWEAR my waist and abs are changing in shape. I love this and cannot talk about it enough!

5 Stars great beginners workout with a great teacher!
lizbeth is a great teacher- for some reason this is one of the few workout videos where there instructor doesn’t annoy me. i think the workout is great- its a constant buildup, offering challenges for the growing advancement. I love her she layers the workouts, challenging several different muscle groups. i LOVE this!

Fat to Firm Fitness Ball Workout for Dummies

Fat to Firm Fitness Ball Workout for Dummies

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars GR8 Workout!!!
This is the best Fitness Ball DVD that I have found, and I think this workout is fantastic!!! (Options for basic & advanced training are demonstrated on DVD).

5 Stars Great for the Beginner
This DVD is great for the beginner. I used a ball in physical therapy and they told me I should get one at home. At first I just used the ball while watching TV – it was fun. Then I got this DVD and it was easy to understand how to do the moves but challenging enough that I felt I was actually doing something. It’s slow paced so you have time to figure out where to put this foot and that hand. Good luck!

3 Stars Caution! Same as other Dummie Ball workout.
I was looking for a similar workout to Liz Gilles On the Ball workout that was on VHS and was one of the best ball workouts I have ever found.

I purchased both Fat to Firm Ball workout for Dummies and Stability Ball workout for Dummies. Both by Gilles. They are exactly the same workout! So, I’m unhappy about that waste of money. For the workout itself, it was okay, nothing like what I was looking for.

5 Stars Nice Workouts
I have a couple of For Dummies Books that are okay and this is the first video that I bought for Dummies. It was a very good choice. A good selection of exercises to work with and targets muscle groups. Also has workouts that are easier/harder depedending on how good you are at them.

5 Stars great balls of fire
great product. have to be a little carefull at first, so you don’t fall off. the wife loves it
