4 Stars Balance Ball for Weight Loss
I love this CD. I like Susan’s style of teaching, the music is relaxing and the exercises are not hard to master. It’s a combination of Yoga and Pilates moves. I’m looking forward to getting more of her exercise ball DVD’s.
5 Stars Ball Pilates
Great Video…if you use it. It was a very nice beginner workout with great instructions.
4 Stars Excellent DVD
I tried this out yesterday. I was surprised that it really is a Pilates workout on the ball. Susan’s cuing is excellent, the breathing is very important and you first have to get the hang of it, and I think the workout will be even more effective once you have the breathing down pat. Its not an exciting video, but if I had wanted that I would’ve purchased something else. This is my third Susan Deason DVD and the background music is always lovely during her workouts, her voice is very soothing, and her instruction is excellent.
1 Star not a good workout
It’s an old lady sitting and talking. You could do this twice a day and never get results.
4 Stars crrection, its great
i’m deleting my first review, because i was totally wrong, i tried it again and i felt invigorating yet relax just what i was looking for, so buy it and add this to all the dvd’s of this great yoga and pilates teacher. Find your balance. With a strong stomach and a strong back.
A combination of yoga and pilates exercises. Yoga brings balance to your life and Pilates strengthens the area around your stomach and back, muscles that give you a stronger body and better posture. Using the balance ball to help you, exercise becomes more varied, more fun and more effective. The balance ball enables movements to be isolated and “work” in the right place. Movements are also gentle and kind toward your body. This form of exercise was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s. Focus, breathing and precision strengthen both body and soul. You?ll notice the difference after only a few sessions. Be part of the present. – 15 minute introduction – 40 minute session Running time: 55 minutes (PAL)
